CHRISTMAS greetings to you all! The ONE season in the year which is supposed to be ALL about LOVE and....

Of course, the MOST important reason why we celebrate CHRISTMAS is to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ!

But it is also the ONE season in the year in which we are

supposed to focus on the LOVE we have for each other.  As well as on the POWER of forgiveness and the importance of the family.

WITHOUT the power of LOVE we are all becoming losers!

Christmas GREETINGS to you all!  Some of you I know personally, a few of you I even have a lot of LOVE for, while others I have never met or even know the existence of.  But my message to you today is the same to each and every one of you:

As the year 2011 comes to an end, the entire world is on the brink of a financial disaster which might send millions into a situation where they will find that their financial "security" was nothing but mirror image in the desert of years of lies and misinformation by both our governments and the so-called "mainstream media".  In fact, for millions of people in both Europe and the USA the situation might become a very bad one, even as early as later in 2012.

However, if you truly believe in LOVE, if you love your wife or husband, and take a break to consider from WHERE does this power come from, I do hope you will realize that the source of LOVE is God himself.  When knowing about and understanding what is happening in the world right now, I have often thought and even said to people I have discussed this with:

"I truly do not understand how people who does not believe in God, in the power of his LOVE for us and in t the power of LOVE within our families, how they can sleep at night IF at the same time they know and understand what is going on in the world right now?!"

But now Christmas is here again!  Hopefully a short period during which we may be able to get a vacation from the worries about the future, about so much which is wrong and evil in the world.  For the next TWO weeks we get to focus more on LOVE, on our family members and on the fact that God himself loves us and brought us his son Jesus Christ as the greatest gift to MAN ever given!  But even if you do not fully accept and/or believe in this, I am sure you can agree to the following words from the Bible:

"And now these three remain:  Faith - Home and Love, - but the greatest of these is LOVE!"

1 Corinthians 13:13

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you yo a "friend" of mine.  I do not personally know this man, I have never met him, but I feel VERY close to him.  For more than 4 years I have closely followed his career, read a couple of his books, and watched his TV programs on FOX.  He has a VERY difficult life behind him, is an alcoholic but has not touched alcohol in many years and he has made a most FANTASTIC career in his life as a TV show host, as an author and businessman.  And he is currently building a new ONLINE Media empire based on LOVE and CHARITY.

He is also very much a commentator in the area of politics, but says he does not believe that any kind of politics can save the US from the disaster that country is currently facing.  And I would like to add this:  I do NOT always agree with him on all issues!  But I still admire him GREATLY and I am pretty sure that GOD has a most fantastic plan for him and his life.

His name is Glenn Beck and I would like to share with you HIS Christmas message to his audience this year.  As he managed to do last year, - his message brought tears to my eyes again, - and the feeling of LOVE overwhelmed me!  Please take a few minutes and watch this video now.  It is Glenn Becks message of "The Spirit of Christmas!"

As I said,  I do not always agree with Glenn Beck, although I am usually very much in agreement with him.  However, if you disagree with him on the message he shared in the above video, I am afraid you are not only missing the entire point with the one time of the year we call "Christmas", - you are also missing the ONE and most important point of LIFE itself!  And this all important "point" is so beautifully described in the following poem:

If I decorate my house perfectly with plaid bows,

strands of twinkling lights and shiny balls, 

but do not show love to my family, 

I'm just another decorator.

If I slave away in the kitchen, 

baking dozens of Christmas cookies, 

preparing gourmet meals and arranging a beautifully 

adorned table at mealtime, but do not show love to my family, 

I'm just another cook.

If I work at the soup kitchen, 

carol in the nursing home and give all that I have to charity, 

but do not show love to my family, 

it profits me nothing.

If I trim the spruce with shimmering angels and crocheted snowflakes, attend a myriad of holiday parties and sing in the choir's cantata but do not focus on Christ, 

I have missed the point.

Love stops the cooking to hug the child.
Love sets aside the decorating to kiss the spouse.
Love is kind, though harried and tired.
Love doesn't envy another's home that has coordinated Christmas china  and table linens.
Love doesn't yell at the kids to get out of the way.

Love doesn't give only to those who are able to give in return but rejoices in giving to those who can't.

Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never fails. 

Video games will break, 

pearl necklaces will be lost, 

golf clubs will rust, 

but giving the gift of LOVE will endure.

 

Love you WIFE - love your HUSBAND...

 

When this year you buy the many gifts which will be wrapped and put under the Christmas tree,  give another gift which needs no artificial "wrapping" at all.  Embrace your wife or husband and "wrap her or him up in your everlasting LOVE, - embrace your loved ones and promise them the gift of love every day of the year in 2012.

It is a gift from God which is given to you with no payment required.  And more importantly, it is a gift which keeps on giving.  The more you give it the more you will get it.  A life without love can be a life with pain and many shortcomings.  A life WITH love will be a life with happiness, pleasure and rich in a way no money can buy!

On this one I could not agree more with Glenn Beck when he says:  The solution for our future lies not in how clever and smart we are.  And it most certainly lies not in how we can select the right or "best" politicians, although this might be important.  It simply lies inside each one of us in terms of how much we can focus on LOVE and give it to those close to us.  

 

And it lies in our trust in God!  You may think that whatever the future has in store for us, you will manage without God.  If so, I am afraid you are making a serious mistake.  As we are soon to move into 2012, we are even closer to one of the most challenging times in the history of mankind.

 

It is time for you to also believe in MIRACLES!  And those can only be provided by God!
